You ARE a Big Deal

You are unique.

✨You are special.

✨You have so many amazing gifts and qualities to share with the world.

It is easy to feel as though you are not special at all. I know because this is exactly how I felt…for years. You look around and see all the fabulous things others are accomplishing in their lives and it’s easy to feel as though your efforts are lackluster. But I want to assure you, this is far from the truth!

It’s easy, as a woman, for you to lose yourself somewhere along this journey of life. You give, give, give until there doesn’t seem to be much left to give to anybody, let alone yourself!

When you feel depleted, I can guarantee you that you are not feeling great about yourself. You are not recognizing your special talents, what draws others to you, what makes you unique.

Then when you factor in the “comparison game”, which doesn’t feel much like a game at all, it gets even easier to feel at though you are lacking, or less than others. Social media, despite its many good points, can unfortunately also leave us feeling small, boring, and insignificant.

As a life coach, this isn’t going to work for me! I know you are special and have many wonderful qualities that others admire in you.

One of my favorite perks, from the work I get to do with women, is the joy I feel when I am able to help another woman rediscover her spark, values, passion, her “magnetic magic” – the thing others love about her, but that she is just too close to see.

I bet you are quick to notice how amazing your friends are, with all their talents and mad skills! But when asked what qualities and talents you possess, you probably draw a blank!  It’s hard to see, or even more likely to proclaim, something that you are good at, something that makes you special.  But rest assured, it’s there! You just may need help figuring it out!

You were probably taught from a young age not to brag about yourself. So, walking around declaring all your fabulous attributes would seem to be a foreign concept. I’m not suggesting that you take the time to figure out your talents and gifts to give yourself something to brag about, but rather to help you know how you can best serve others and be happy yourself. When you spend time working with your natural gifts, life is going to seem easier and more fulfilling.

🌻 Here’s a quick assignment that may help you get started figuring out what makes you – YOU!  Ask 3-4 friends what they admire most about you, what drew them to you when you first met each other. Then review all the responses you receive back from your friends. I will not be the least bit surprised if you receive some repeated answers, as this usually is the case.

Next, I want you to accept these responses as truth, especially if you hear the same qualities over and over from different people! What you are hearing in the responses from others are your personal values, what you are known for, how others perceive you, your natural gifts and abilities. ✨

They are such a part of who you are, that you don’t even realize how wonderful they are. Or you may (wrongly) assume that everybody is like this or can do this particular thing. For example, if you are naturally empathic, you can’t NOT look at a situation with empathy. So, you won’t realize that this is not the norm, others don’t analyze every situation through an empathic lens like you do. Again, you are too close to your brilliance to even notice that this is something that makes you so unique.

Please do not downplay the responses you hear back from others either. What seems like “no big deal” to you, may be huge to somebody else. And your natural abilities, gifts, and talents probably do seem like “no big deal” to you, but these qualities are what make you YOU! Trust me, you are a big deal and there are many in the world who admire you for these qualities! 💕
