My Journey to Bloom

It’s been said that “life is a journey”, and to me the surprising parts, the twists and turns, are what makes it such a grand adventure.🌻

In my youth, I never would have guessed the adventures this thing called life would take me on.

One day I’d be an aerobics instructor, a personal assistant to a rear admiral in the US Navy, work on a social media team (personal computers didn’t even exist in my youth, let alone the Internet or social media!), and eventually, I’d start my own coaching business (at the age of 51).

I’d move twenty times, fall in love with my high school crush, have two babies, realize that dogs are one of God’s greatest creations, along with sea turtles…the list could go on and on. Yet here I am!

Life is a journey, not a destination. Happiness is not "there" but here, not "tomorrow" but today.

All of our journeys are unique. All of our stories are unique. YOU are unique. And yet, more often than not, we don’t even realize our own uniqueness, our brilliance, or what I like to refer to as our “magnetic magic”.✨

Through a series of life events: supporting my husband’s 20+ year military career, my children nearing and then entering their college years, leaving a job that drained my energy and soul, starting to question limiting beliefs, learning to trust my own beliefs and opinions (and speak up about them), I shifted directions on my journey and started to focus on me.

The shift was not selfish in nature, but rather stemmed from a deep understanding and belief that the happier and more content I was with myself, with my life, the better I would show up for it! The better I would show up for those important to me, the better I would show up for others in general.

Women pour so much of themselves into others, often to the detriment of their own health and sanity. By the time mid-life sneaks up on them (and it does!), they have so little energy and spark left, they no longer recognize themselves. I find this tragic and am passionate about helping my fellow sisters regain that spark and make the next chapter of their lives their best yet.

As far as not knowing where the twists and turns of my life were going to take me, I’m thankful it has brought me here: to mentoring and helping women discover their talents, passions, and purpose and teaching them how to create their own happiness.

You alone are responsible for your happiness. Quit blaming others and take the reins of your life! I’d love to help.
